Kate is originally from Cavan, Dublin based actor, she recently completed training in Bow Street Academy as well as courses at The Lir Academy.
Kate is a founding member of Dublin based contemporary theatre company Dead Cute. Kate starred in and co-devised Dead Cute’s debut production Freddo Bars & Cigars in Smock Alley Theatre in 2022. Kate’s stage performances include the role of Marci in Almost Maine (The Helix) and Grusha in The Caucasian Chalk Circle (Townhall Theatre Cavan). Kate’s screen credits include independent films Twist & Shout, Glanora and Off Track, as well as music videos for CMAT and Patrick Stefan. Kate has recently completed commercial VO work for Dublin Rape Crisis Centre.
Kate is currently in pre-production for a short which she will co-write and act in.
Kate sits on the Board of Directors for Youth Theatre Ireland. Kate holds a Bachelors Degree in Business studies and has worked as a theatre and arts marketer for the likes of Dublin Theatre Festival and The Ark Dublin.
Kate is also very skilled at Yoga, she plays traditional fiddle and tin whistle and has great interest in fashion, particularly sustainable and slow fashion.
