Bio

Dale Leadon-Bolger is an actor from Wicklow. Dale recently wrapped filming on Dennis Hauck’s 65mm revenge Western AL’S BRAND for Foe Killer Films alongside Ian McElhinney. More recently he appeared in the Screen Ireland short film INHERENT which screened at this year’s Galway Film Fleadh.
Further credits include the role of Roly in Nick Kelly’s THE DRUMMER AND THE KEEPER, winner of The Best First Feature Film award at the Galway Film Fleadh, Morgan Bushe’s indie feature THE BELLY OF THE WHALE opposite Pat Shortt and Peter Coonan, RIPPER STREET for the BBC and REBELLION for RTE/AMC.
Dale is a graduate of the two year Full Time Screen Acting programme in Bow Street Academy for Screen Acting, as well as NUI Galway’s Drama, Theatre and Performance programme, a course set up in conjunction with Druid Theatre Company. He holds a Masters in Screenwriting from The National Film School, IADT and his debut screenplay WHEN HORSES FALL, based on his family’s background in horse racing, was selected as one of eight Screen Ireland’s First Draft and Beyond development programme in 2019.
