Bio

Alan is an actor based in Dublin, Ireland. He has trained under both Kathleen Warner-Yeates and acclaimed Irish director Terry McMahon. Alan’s stage experience includes ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ (New Theatre), ‘Hot Property’ (Smock Alley), ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ (New Theatre), ‘Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf’ (New Theatre) and ‘Looking at the Sun’(Civic Theatre). His TV experience includes 24 Hours to Kill (TV3) and Doctors on Call (RTE). Alan has appeared in several independent short and feature films including ‘How to be Happy’ and ‘The Randomer’, which both premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh. Award winning short films ‘Neighbourhood Watch’ and ‘The Spark’, both written and directed by Alan, have featured in film festivals both here in Ireland and internationally. Alan recently appeared as Robert’s Social Worker in the Academy Award nominated ‘Detainment’.
