Alan is an actor based in Dublin, Ireland. Having studied English Literature, Philosophy and Theology Alan went on to work in the field of social care for several years before returning to acting in 2012. He has undergone the ‘Advanced Actor’ and ‘Acting for the Camera’ training under Kathleen Warner-Yeates and Stephanie Courtney at the Abbey School of Drama.
Alan’s previous stage experience includes Much Ado About Nothing (New Theatre) and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf (New Theatre). His TV experience includes 24 Hours to Kill (TV3) and Doctors on Call (RTE).
In the last two years Alan has appeared in several independent short and feature films including ‘Riffed’, which premiered at the 2014 Underground Cinema Film Festival, ‘How to be Happy’, which premiered at the 2013 Galway Film Fleadh. A short film ‘Neighbourhood Watch’, written and directed by Alan featured at the 2014 Underground Cinema Film festival.
